Birth and Education of Amit Shah: 

Amit Shah was born on 22nd October, 1964 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Shah comes from a business family and is a Gujarati person of Jain religion. Shah’s education is of BSc in Biochemistry. Shah and his father used to do a plastic business before coming to politics. At the young age, Shah himself joined the RSS.

At college, Shah met Narendra Modi, who is now the Prime Minister of India. Subsequently Shah joined the All India Vidyathi Council in 1983. Earlier, Amit Shah had come to politics only in his student life.

Amit Shah’s personal life:

Amit Shah was married to Sonal Shah of Gujarat and from this marriage a son was born named Jai Shah. His son Jai Shah has made B.Tech from Nirma University. Jai was a batsmen and used to under-train Jai Vardhan Sehgal. But Jai later joined the stock market and he too has a lot of information about his father’s stock market. In 2009, Jai became Executive Executive Member of the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) and in 2013 he was also elected General Secretary of GCA. Jai did not join his traditional PVC pipe business after completing his studies, but in August 2004 he founded Temple Enterprises Private Limited Company.

Amit Shah’s Political Career:

After joining Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Amit Bhai worked for the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), a student wing of the Sangh for four years. At the same time, the BJP emerged as the political branch of the Sangh and Amit Bhai became a member of the party in 1984-85. After becoming a BJP member, he was given the first liability of the pole agent in Narayanpur ward of Ahmedabad, after which he was made secretary of the same ward. After successfully completing these tasks, he was selected for higher obligations and was made the National Treasurer of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and subsequently was given the responsibility of the State Secretary and Vice President of Gujarat BJP. In these roles, he actively campaigned for the expansion of the young political party, with a proactive campaign.

He emphasized his organizational capabilities by focusing on ground level issues and the ability of permanent contact with party workers. Their qualifications came to the attention of the people when they became in charge of the city of Ahmedabad, at that time they made extensive public relations in favor of Ram Janmabhoomi movement and Ekta Yatra. After these mass movements, Lok Sabha elections were held in 1989 in which Amit Bhai was given the responsibility of managing the election of Gandhinagar constituency from the BJP’s Jan Lok Sabha leader Lal Krishan Advani. His coalition was like this which was going to continue for the next two decades, Amit Bhai kept preparing an election strategy for the 2009 Lok Sabha elections for Advani ji. When former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee contested from the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency, Amit Bhai became his election-in-charge. Amit Bhai earned the reputation of an efficient election manager for himself on the strength of his abilities.

During 1990, the political turmoil of Gujarat overturned the people of the people and the BJP emerged as the main and only opposition party in the state in the Congress. During this, Amit Bhai started the hard work of the utmost importance of documenting the primary members of the party in Gujarat in the guidance of Mr. Narendra Modi, successfully and successfully conveyed it to the result.

After the fall of BJP government, for the first time in the Bye-by-election, Amit Bhai made his debut in the election, he contested the assembly election with a margin and managed to win the seat by a margin of 25,000 votes. Experiencing the fervent need of voters’ trust and reinstatement of mandate, Amit Bhai dedicated himself to strengthening the party in the state. At the same time, he continued his duty as a legislator, and in 1998, he won the same seat again by a difference of 1.30 lakh votes.

Amit Bhai’s political career is a major achievement – breaking the Congress grip on Gujarat’s cooperative movement which was the source of electoral strength and effect for him. By 1998, Congress had control over all the cooperative banks, except for just one co-operative bank. But now all this was going to change, thanks to Amit Bhai’s political sharpness and the ability to bring people together. As a result of their efforts, the BJP started winning elections of cooperative banks, milk dairy and agricultural mandi committees.

Under his chairmanship, Asia’s largest co-operative bank – Ahmedabad District Co-operative Bank became beneficial within only one year. For the first time in a decade, the bank declared dividend. In view of his extensive experience and commendable success, Amit Bhai was made the National Coordinator of BJP Cooperative Cell in 2001.

Prior to the assembly elections in 2002, Amit Bhai was made co-convenor of ‘Gaurav Yatra’. After which the party came under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi. This time, Amit Bhai won the elections for the third consecutive time from the Sarkhej. This time the difference in victory increased to 1, 58,036 Amit Bhai was given the responsibility of important ministries like Home, Transport and Prohibition and his work as Home Minister of Gujarat was highly appreciated. He used chess in the government schools of Ahmadabad as a pilot project. In 2007, Shri Narendra Modi and Amit Bhai became Chairman and Vice-Chairman respectively of Gujarat State Cricket Association and terminated Congress’s 16-year reign. During this period Amit Bhai was the Chairman of the Ahmedabad Central Board of Cricket.

Fake encounters case:

The year 2010 was the year of unprecedented challenges. The Congress-led UPA government charged Amit Bhai with fake encounter and he was imprisoned.
